Managing Director - UK Country Manager

Expert in loss adjusting with extensive experience at companies such as Thomas Howell (Crawford) as GTS Managing Director, Cunningham Lindsey (Sedgwick) as Director of Corporate Risks and Specialist Practice Groups, founding Director EFI Global UK, and Abaco International Loss Adjusters as UK Country Manager and MD.

NICOLA MAGUIRE - Spain

International Casualty Director

Nicola is a recognised adjusting expert with international experience from London to Sydney, having worked in companies such as NZI Insurance, G Hughes & Associates, PCS Adjusters, GAB Robins. In 2006 she moved to Spain, with Oterin (Sedgwick) then to Abaco in 2008, where she works as International Liability Director.

JAIME LINARES - Colombia

Latam Regional Director & Colombia CM

Starting in 2001 with Allianz Colombia, as in-house counsel, progressing to General Secretary before moving in 2010 to AON Risk Colombia as Legal Manager, then Claims Manager. In 2014 he joined Abaco Colombia as Country Manager. Currently Regional Dtor. Latam & International - Financial Lines.

RODOLFO GOMEZ - Mexico

Mexico Country Manager

A qualified engineer, he began work 2001 with Crawford (Spain), before joining AON. He left to set up his own consultancy GD-Inco, and in 2012 he joined Abaco as Mexico Country Manager, where he continues to handle major and complex losses, in addition to his management and development role.

ESTUARDO HUARD - Guatemala

Guatemala Country Manager

More than 30 years of loss adjusting experience, plus Claims Managers roles at Unaco Guatemala, Aseguradora General, and Seguros G&T. He was also Head of the Claims Committee of the Guatemalan Association of Insurance Institutions. In 2007 he founded the adjusting firm, OAGIS, S.A., which was acquired by Abaco in 2018.

YAGO VEIGA – Peru

Peru Country Manager

An Industrial Engineer with previous experience as Elyo Ibérica Servicios Energéticos S.A.’s Technical Unit Manager. He joined Abaco, specialising in risk analysis and industrial & engineering claims, handling Property, CAR, CPE, Machinery Breakdown, Liability, Power and Energy losses. Today Yago is Peru Country Manager for Abaco.

MARIANNA PARADISO - Chile

Industry Specialist

Industrial engineer with extensive experience in production planning, sales, supplies and raw materials in Venezuela. Her first insurance role in Chile was in 2017 with Machard Loss Adjusters (now Abaco Chile), where she holds the position of Technical Services Supervisor.

JORGE MATZNER – Chile

Chile Director of Property & Energy

A Mechanical Engineer with 16 years of experience in the insurance. His roles include Engineering & Industrial Risks Manager (JPV & Associates), Director of Engineering (Duhalde Professional) and Engineering, Mining and Energy Division Manager for (Graham Miller Ltda. - Crawford Chile). In 2021 he joined Abaco Chile as Property and Engineering Director.
